Personal Profile

I'm an engineer by training. I recently earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore in India. Prior to this, I worked with Cisco as a Hardware Engineer, a job that I got right after my Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. At Cisco, I worked on verification of ASICs that formed the brains of various networking systems.

I am a theatre enthusiast, and enjoy performing as well as watching stage plays. I like cooking as much as I like eating (pizza and Asian being favourite cuisines). Soccer is a first love of sorts and I someday see myself coaching budding footballers. Travel, as might be seen in some of my posts and galleries, I believe is something that keeps me sane. I combine my love for history and fascination with new places to turn into a sort of nerdy traveller. To top it up, I read a lot too. History, fiction, biographies, and largely everything under the sun!

Of late, I've also been dabbling with electronics, web design, data science, and writing- a wide selection of topics. All in all, I like challenges and enjoy doing new things that work both halves of my mind.

Born and brought up in New Delhi, I have lived in Bangalore, Pittsburgh, Austin, San Jose, and San Francisco. Various pages on this site will talk about some of those experiences.
